Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures

Alberta Ingenuity is now Alberta Innovates – Technology Futures as part of the new collaboration and alignment within Alberta’s research and innovation system.

On January 1, 2010, all Alberta government research funding agencies, including Alberta Ingenuity Fund, became part of Alberta Innovates, which will strengthen the province’s role as a world leader in using science to seek solutions is areas critical to Alberta.
  
During this transition period, we would like to collaborate with award recipients on their needs and the use of logos and messages. Please contact the lead of the Ingenuity program you are a part of (contact us) or our communications department, below, to ensure your needs are met and for instructions on how to use the logos and messages.

Naming

When referring to Alberta Ingenuity or Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures, use the full name, or simply Ingenuity or Technology Futures, if in an Alberta context. Use of acronyms is discouraged.

Logo

  • Authorization
    Alberta Ingenuity is now Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures as part of the new collaboration and alignment within Alberta's research and innovation system.
  • The Alberta Ingenuity logo is no longer in circulation. If you received funding prior to December 31, 2009, or are working on a collaborative project where the use of an Alberta Ingenuity logo is required, please contact us.
  • If you require an Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures logo for use on a poster or in conjunction with a research project, please contact us. We will provide you the logos and visual guidelines; and we will also be available to help you with those guidelines and answer questions.
  • Please also include the following tagline with the logo (in black): Alberta Ingenuity is now Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures.
     
  • If using the Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures logo in electronic form, ensure there is a link to www.albertainnovates.ca from the logo.
  • Intended use
    • Posters, presentations and project materials assocciated with research funded by Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures, formerly Alberta Ingenuity.
