Commercialization Associates is a component of the Ingenuity Industry Associates program with the strategic intent of increasing the business and management expertise in Alberta companies. It is designed to advance the commercialization of industrial applied research currently supported within the province, in order to strengthen the diversification and global competitiveness of Alberta's economy.

Commercialization Associates address the growing need for highly trained business and management personnel in Alberta industries. Through this program component, Alberta's start-up companies and small and medium sized enterprises are able to recruit business/management professionals who will lead the companies to stronger technology commercialization for the benefit of the company and Alberta's economy.
