Harvey Weingarten, Representative of the University of Calgary

Harvey Weingarten is President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calgary. He holds a BSc from McGill University and an MSc, M.Phil. and a PhD from Yale University.

Dr. Weingarten also serves on the boards of Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research, Calgary Canadian and Chinese Economic and Cultural Foundation, Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network, Concurrent Technologies Canada Incorporated, Miller Thompson Foundation, and Calgary Technologies Inc.

He has also served as Dean, Faculty of Science and Vice-President Academic, McMaster University. Dr. Weingarten was the Honorary President of the Canadian Psychological Association for 2002-2003.
